TAFE has adopted two villages namely Pudupakkam and Padur in Thiruporur block of Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. Population in both the villages consists of about 1500 people. They are mostly agricultural labourers.

In Pudupakkam, a health centre and Balvadi (providing nutritious mid-day meals to children) is run. Health centre is alone run at Padur village.

Other needs of the villagers are provision of drinking water (sinking of borewell and construction of overhead tank), community centre with a television, laying of black top roads and building infrastructure for a secondary school.
